Here are a few easy steps to get started.

- Download mIRC here Here.
- Install your mIRC Client.
- Run your mIRC application and fill out the informations stated.
- Connect to irc.rizon.net or the Rizon server.
- Join #Amaterasu.

Update: For those who are either having a hard time getting around mIRC or connecting to the server, I have found a solution for your IRC needs! Behold! The official mIRC compact flash channel!

The mIRC channel can now be accessed through the website homepage! This little application here has a very simple and user-friendly GUI that will allow you to connect to our channel with extreme ease. Just input any desireable nickname and connect! That's it, you're done!

Whenever you're up for some chat with your fellow Amaterasu members, just go back to the homepage and you'll see it up front.

These are the pros and cons of using the Compact IRC application:

Advantages:

- Easy access to our channel without having to open your mIRC client.
- User-friendly GUI.
- Emoticons.
- Simplicity of design.
- Same features.

Disadvantages:

- Mibbit servers tend to overload at times due to the fact that there are also many users that uses the same type of service such as this. Overloading users may cause the Rizon servers to K-line ban some attempting users trying to connect to #Amaterasu using this application.

Note: Although this may be a handy application to save those users who are either too lazy download/install mIRC or doesn't know how to configure its client, it is still adviseable for those who really want to connect to download the real mIRC client to avoid overload disconnections.

Chat while you're posting! The sky is the limit. We'll see you there! The same rules here in Amaterasu Forums also somewhat applies at IRC as well.

Rules are:

- No Spamming.
- No Advertising.
- No Flaming(If you guys really want to flame, do it in PMs)
- No topic hijacking.
- No sending of viruses or malwares.

Failure to comply with the rules will result in a kick or ban, depending on the severity of the offense.
