Happy New Year!
This marks another year for Amaterasu Forums. We have now been surviving the cold world of the internet and we're still going strong. I would like to thank all the members who have been loyal and supportive until now. Your efforts are always appreciated. And for those who have come and go, you will always be remembered as a part of our beloved community and will never cease to perish.
I remember like it was yesterday..
2 years have passed since I created the original Amaterasu Forums. A small community, growing each day and looking back to it reminds me that I should continue and persevere into molding this little community to as big as it can be. Friendship and bonding with each other are the most precious moments of all.
Once again, I would like to thank who have always been there to support us and we will always strive for what is best for Amaterasu, your home.
Thank you everyone and have a nice and productive year!

Well, I don't like doing stuff like this but I guess to keep track of persistent and hard-headed idiots, I made this as a referrence to track everything that a person gets so I won't get any "Injustice" or "Unjust" ban crap.

Greetings to everyone at • Amaterasu • International Forum!
It's been fun for me but unfortunately, my stay here in the philippines have been long overdue. Although before I go, Me and the forumwise team planned out another HUGE update for you guys so enjoy the season and have a good blast with these new features.
• Amaterasu Money System - Well, what do you know. Every post you now make will allow you to earn money use to buy additional benefits and other things in the future. Don't spam to increase your post count and money, that's all I have to say.
I've disabled cash accumulation in some parts of the forum...
- Forum Games (English)
- Forum Games (Philippines)
- Forum Games (Brazil)
You can also donate your hard earned cash to other members using our donation system.
• Youtube BBCode - Tired of directing other people to the youtube website just to show them your video? Now you can include them directly in your post using the Youtube BBCode. It embeds the video using the URL provided by Youtube in which it allows you to have the pleasure watching the video on a particular topic without straying off to other places. How cool is that!
In order to use the Youtube BBCode. Copy a particular Youtube URL and paste it in your post with the following code.
| Code: | | [youtube]<URL HERE>[/youtube] |
• Who's Online Today! - We've had many requests for expanded Who's Online information that would show not only users currently logged on, but all visiting members for the current day. We are pleased to announce that Who's Online Today information has been added to the Portal Homepage at the bottom of the existing Who's Online module.
• More Arcade Games + Arcade Updates - Added more games and an update to the arcade module.
• Strike BBCode Added - The new strike BBCode has now been added.
Amaterasu
with Strike...
Amaterasu
In order to use the Strike BBCode, input the following...
| Code: | | [strike]<TEXT HERE>[/strike] |
• Hide Feature - Ever wanted to hide your post and only reveal the contents only when someone replies to your thread/post? Now you can with the Hide feature!
How do I do it?
-Simple, just follow a simple BBCode for it.

• Onion Emoticons Added - I've recently added and coded the new Onion emoticons! This cute little critters are the new replacements for the previous emoticons. Although, I'm still figuring out a better style template I can use to match the current background template. Anyway, enjoy!
• Rabbitoshi (Virtual Pet) - NOT IMPLEMENTED YET!
Features:
Pet status: Health, hunger, thirst and hygiene.
Pet shop: Buy and sell food and items for your pet.
Hotel: Put your pet into the hotel.
Pet owners list:
Vet: Fully heal your pet.
Sell your pet: his value increases with time.
This goes with a points system.
• Genders - NOT IMPLEMENTED YET!
This feature allows users to specify a gender. The gender is visible in view profile and view topic. It is configurable through the ACP where the feature can be disabled altogether. You can also choose to allow text genders or image genders.
• Lottery - NOT IMPLEMENTED YET!
It works more like a raffle, only the entry fees from everyone entered are added into a base amount you can specify to find out the amount rewarded. The duration of the lotteries, if it auto restarts, the name and other general things can all be set from the administrator control panel. The last user to win the lottery will be displayed in the lottery area once you reset the lottery.
Please note, this hack currently requires PHP 4.2.0 or greater due to seeding not being specified in the randomizer when it picks the winner. If you use a version lower, it will always pick 1.
• Jobs - NOT IMPLEMENTED YET!
This feature will add a jobs system to the forum. Jobs may have requirements, such as a certain amount of posts or specific items from the Shop feature to limit what a user can earn.
The jobs will pay out an amount of points/gold that I've selected in the period you select in the administrator control panel. There is also the ability to set a job to private so I can assign it to moderators or administrators only.
Multiple jobs are available and this may be set in the ACP.
This feature requires a points or cash feature to work. To use the item restriction, I must have the Shop feature installed.
• Shop Feature - NOT IMPLEMENTED YET!
This feature adds a shop system to the forums that allows users to buy items. It also supports giving, trading, and discarding of items as well as rearranging inventories. An effects shop can be installed. Administrators can control many functions, including item name, description, short description, long description, cost, stock, restock amount, shop restock time, shop owners, shop names and shop districts.
It requires a cash or point feature.
• Reopening - I've now reopened the forum games and took back the post counts also adding another slot for the top poster ranking in the portal. I hope the people learned their lessons. As for myself, I wouldn't want the same thing to happen again.
================END================
Well, folks, I guess this is it for now. Stay tuned for more future updates and we hope that Amaterasu™ International Forum has made your forum experience much more convenient.
Thank you for reading and have fun posting!

Greetings to everyone in Amaterasu™ Forums!
Well, having to throw my hands first time in the world of media productions had me thinking how hard it was. I guess art is still involve when it comes to tastes of editing, I figured that will be the case.
I worked on it for 2 days straight and tried out my luck and skill when it comes to video productions. Mind that this is my first time and for all of you critics and veterans out there who has something to say to my creation --- please say it gently.
By the way, I only included members on the video who have posted their real life pictures. As for the remaining members who didn't get included in the video, It's not the end of it and I'll be creating more soon once I hone my skills. In the meantime, start posting those real pictures now!
Anyways, here is my 2 day-straight hard work in one video, enjoy!
Watch me NOW!

Posting:
Please only make on-topic, coherent posts that add something to the discussion. If you have nothing to say that has not already been said, do not post anything. It is better to remain silent and seem an idiot than to speak and remove all doubt. Making short, inane posts with no purpose other than to increase your own post count is considered spamming and is not allowed on this forum. All spam will be deleted without prior warning. If you are posting about a topic requesting help or advice, please be specific and offer information that is useful so that people attempting to reply will not have to ask for more information.
Bumping/Double Posting:
There is no reason to post two or three times in a row. If you bump your topic it will be locked/deleted. Continue to bump topics and you will be banned. If you need to reply to post something new to your post, simply edit your previous post instead of double posting. You can do this by clicking the "Edit" button on your own post.
Flaming/Bashing:
It is well known that truth is discovered through debate. Nevertheless, abusive or derogatory comments aimed at other members of the forums will not be tolerated, and will result in severe punitive action. In any debate, keep your comments focused on the issue at hand, not on the people you are debating with.
Impersonating:
Impersonating administrators, moderators, or members of the organizing committee is strictly forbidden. Asking for another user's password is also strictly forbidden. Doing so will get you permanently banned without a warning. Please note that Admins and Moderating staff will never ask for your password -- don't tell it to anyone.
Ban Evasion:
If you are banned from the forums, do not make a new account. This is considered a ban evasion. If you make new posts or replies on your new account, your ban will be extended if it is not permanent. In addition, we will hunt down your new threads and posts and delete them. If your ban is not permanent, please learn from your mistakes. Repeat offenders will be punished more severely. Furthermore, do not beg to lift a ban. This will only lead to further consequences. If you continue to defy the rules after being banned, steps will be taken to ensure you do not come back.
=====================Board Rules========================
1.) The moderators and administrators of the Boards reserve the right to suspend, ban or delete community member accounts who violate the aforementioned rules without prior notice.
2.)Keep your posts on-topic. To maintain consistency within the topic groups, we remind members to maintain your posts within the bounds of the topic in discussion. Deliberate disruption, such as consistent off-topic commentary, will NOT be tolerated. The moderators reserve the right to delete posts and whole threads that are deemed to be of an abusive or disruptive nature. Off-topic posts and threads will be moved to their proper groups or forums.
3.)Finally, because we can't anticipate everything offensive or inappropriate that may come up, in the interest of our community we reserve the right to immediately delete any posting or ban any user at our sole discretion.
=====================MINOR MISC=====================
• Learn to spell.
- I'm not fooling around. Please take care over your posts and make them readable. It is all too easy to just type something in shorthand, however, please refrain from using "txt tlk", "ALL CAPS" or other null languages or slangs as these are commonly considered rude and sometimes offensive.
• Be Contentful.
- It's like what I always say. It doesn't really take that much to post something contentful. When constructing new threads, try to observe the purpose of your thread on why you're creating it. Find articles and information that will facilitate the discussion in your thread. Added informations are better! Don't go around replying to someone's thread going around like "Yeah, I do that, too!" where in the manner of neglecting the thread author's effort of typing/finding/creating/researching all that information to be submitted and replied by someone who doesn't understand the purpose and knowledge of the thread and just reply in an attempt to inflate his/her own post count. If you can't relate, don't post at all. If you want to find out more, ask specific questions and other things that you seek. If you're just expressing your thoughts and notions, don't flame nor give out false facts that may defame the thread. Post safe, post smart, your reputation depends on it.

Warning System and Good Points(GP)
=================================
We have finally implemented the warning system to discipline persistent users on their acts of ruining the forum's balance and integrity.
Our warning system works with integer values in which I shall explain on how things work along with the Good Points system.
-A positive sign serves as a Warning(+).
-A negative sign serves as a Good Point(-).
Any contribution/support made by any user in our boards will be applied with one GP in his/her account.
Our warning system works as follows:
Advertising w/o Requirements - 1 Warning Point
Flaming/Bashing - 1 Warning Point
Excessive Profanity - 1 Warning Point
Bumping Posts Twice - 1 Warning Point
Impersonating - Account Deletion
Ban Evasion - Account Deletion
Bug Exploiting - Account and I.P Ban
----------------------------------------------------------
Legend
----------------------------------------------------------
3 Warning Points - 1 Week Ban
4 Warning Points - 1 Month Ban
5 Warning Points - 6 Month Ban
6 Warning Points - 1 Year Ban
7 Warning Points - Permanent Ban
----------------------------------------------------------
Thank you and have fun posting!
